    Would you like to play a key role in delivering exciting holiday activities and food provision for children and young people across Rutland? We are looking for a motivated and organised administrator to join our Living Well Rutland team as a Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme Administrator.

    This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of the HAF Programme, helping to ensure children and young people across Rutland can access enriching activities, healthy meals and positive experiences during the school holidays.

    Working closely with the HAF Programme Lead, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth coordination and delivery of the programme. You will work with schools, activity providers, families and partner organisations, playing an important role in supporting one of Rutland's key programmes for children and families.

    About you...

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • Experience of providing administrative support within a busy environment
      • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
      • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
      • Experience of maintaining electronic records and filing systems
      • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
      • Experience of communicating with members of the public and professionals
      • Competence in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook and Excel
      • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • A flexible and proactive approach to work
      • A commitment to improving outcomes for children, young people and families

    Knowledge of the HAF Programme and experience of minute taking would be advantageous but are not essential.

    About the Role...

    As the HAF Programme Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Holiday Activities and Food Programme. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Providing administrative support for the coordination and delivery of the HAF Programme
      • Maintaining accurate records of providers, activities, attendance data and programme documentation
      • Supporting communication with schools, providers, families and partner organisations
      • Assisting with the management of enquiries and shared inboxes
      • Supporting the collection, collation and monitoring of programme data and performance information
      • Maintaining provider compliance documentation, including safeguarding information, insurance and risk assessments
      • Supporting promotional activities and the distribution of programme information
      • Assisting with the preparation and organisation of programme resources and materials
      • Maintaining electronic filing systems in line with data protection requirements

    Please note: A full driving is essential for this role as it is predominantly based at The Family Hub, Oakham, however occasional travel to other Rutland County Council sites may be required.

    The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.

    The HAF Programme Administrator interviews will be held face to face during w.c. 27 July 2026. Please be advised this may be subject to change, in which case appropriate notice will be given.
