Housing Officer
Due to delivery restructure, we are seeking three additional Housing Officers to join our Housing Services team at SCH to deliver a high-quality, responsive, and solutions focused tenancy management and ASB service across our communities.
This is a key role in our Housing Services team that will manage a portfolio of cases across tenancy management, anti-social behaviour and resident services, ensuring that legal and regulatory obligations are met and customers receive a responsive, empathetic and solutions focused service.
We are looking for someone proactive, who has a good understanding of social housing legislation and the ASB Crime and Policing Act, who has experience of managing a varied workload, and offers a strong commitment to delivering an excellent housing management service.
The job is demanding and exciting, offering the opportunity to make a real contribution to the local community.
If you are confident in handling complex, sensitive and high-risk situations, enjoy developing partnerships with other agencies, and can problem solve to produce positive outcomes for residents, this may be the opportunity for you.
Please note that frequent travel across the borough is an essential requirement of the role. A full driving licence and use of a car is essential.
In return, SCH offers excellent staff benefits including:
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- The opportunity to purchase up to 10 additional days holiday per year.
- A generous flexitime scheme (available for most roles) with up to two days' flexitime allowed per eight-week period.
- Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
