Description

Help ensure a positive information security culture at Leicestershire Police!

As an Information Security Support Officer, you will play an integral role in ensuring information security and compliance processes are applied consistently in Force, enabling effective operational policing to be carried out while following policy. This is an important role which will allow you to have a hand in the continuous improvement of our information security.

What you’ll be doing

• Acting as the initial point of contact for routine information security matters
• Carrying out routine environmental scanning to identify emerging information security trends
• Providing clear, practical and proportionate advice and guidance to officers and staff

The must haves

• To be educated to A level or equivalent or have experience working showing ability to work to this level
• Awareness of information security principles within a regulated or compliance driven environment
• Experience of handling routine enquiries, casework or tasking within a high-volume environment
