We’ll also expect you to produce post-work reporting, maintain technical drawings, develop and implement safe systems of work, and see that all your team members undertake risk assessments and comply with Health & Safety policies.
Your additional responsibilities will include helping to maintain our UK workshops and stores, supporting research and development, and the ongoing maintenance of your professional knowledge and expertise relating to the latest technologies and best practice. Committed to liaising with customers to make sure our work meets their requirements and working with service providers to ensure necessary standards are met, you’ll also offer support to Technical Officers overseas, flag any issues that arise, and assist the Estimating and Cost Control team in the development of quotes.

Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to manage and motivate your teams, and you should also be capable of producing and interpreting technical documents and drawings and undertaking site surveys.
We’d prefer you to have some experience of working in a similar role in overseas locations, and an understanding of how to operate in secure environments would be desirable. In addition, knowledge of construction design management requirements would be a plus, as would membership of a relevant professional body.
