Wakefield Council is seeking a motivated and dynamic Inward Investment Manager to play a key role in the delivery of inward investment and key account management. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the bridge between the public and private sector and drive sustainable economic growth across the district.

What you’ll be doing

• Play a key role in the delivery of inward investment aligned to the Wakefield Economic Growth Plan.
• Unlocking investment across the district within our business base that leads to the creation of new, knowledge intensive employment opportunities.
• Work across a portfolio of impactful projects.
• Play a key role in the development and management of meaningful partnerships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
• Supporting the development of funding bids and managing external funding streams.
