As an IT Analyst Developer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering change across Peabody’s business systems. With a deep understanding of our applications and processes, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects and enhancements, ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with business needs. You will also provide support across other capabilities when required, helping to maintain operational efficiency and reduce repeatable activities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering tasks that support projects within a defined programme of work. Working closely with project leads and capability managers, you will help define, track, and report on progress, ensuring blockers are identified and addressed promptly. You will analyse problems methodically, considering trends and operational impact, and propose effective resolutions. As part of your change delivery responsibilities, you will keep stakeholders informed, maintain documentation, and ensure that solutions are implemented smoothly and effectively.You will contribute to the development of IT change control practices, aiming to simplify processes and reduce repetitive tasks. As a mentor to Application Support Analysts, you will share knowledge, provide training, and support their professional development. You will also engage with business users and subject matter experts to build strong working relationships and ensure that IT solutions meet organisational needs. Your work will span the full development lifecycle, adhering to best practices and frameworks such as ITIL and Agile, and you will represent Peabody professionally in all external engagements.

What you'll need

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to set expectations and provide clear updates.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Experience mentoring and coaching team members, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Solid understanding of IT methodologies, including ITIL and Agile, and experience working with business systems and third-party vendors.
• Proven experience in application development and solutions delivery across the full lifecycle, ideally within the social housing domain.

You’ll need to be in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week.
