Holy Family Catholic Multi Academy Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated IT Apprentice to join their ICT team at St Mary's Catholic College, Wallasey. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to the smooth operation of IT services across our schools.

As an IT Apprentice, you will work closely with the ICT team to support teaching, learning, and administration through effective IT services. This hands-on role will provide you with training and experience in troubleshooting, network maintenance, and supporting classroom technology.
In this role, you will work towards your IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Now Skills.
A Typical Day in the Job:
Technical Support:
Provide first-line support for equipment, including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, printers, and interactive whiteboards.
Network and System Maintenance:
Monitor and maintain the school's network, including servers, switches, and wireless systems.
Classroom Technology:
Maintain and support classroom technology such as projectors, smartboards, and AV equipment.
Administrative Support:
Manage inventory of ICT equipment, including logging and tracking hardware and software licenses.
Training and Development:
Participate in structured training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace Now Skills
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
Salary: £14,133 per annum
Working Hours: 36 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm)
Holiday Entitlement: 22 days plus bank holidays (holidays to be taken outside of term time)

Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to learning.
Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Required to have a Grade 5/C in English and Grade 4/C in Maths
Your Training with Now Skills:
You will be enrolled onto Information Communication Technician with Azure/AWS Level 3, providing you with formal qualifications and practical skills. You'll also have access to one-to-one mentoring sessions with senior team members and on-the-job training that aligns with your career goals.
