We have an exciting new opportunity within our HR team! We are recruiting for a Job Evaluation Coordinator to champion equality, compliance and a consistent process that supports our stakeholders at every stage.

As a newly formed role, you will be required to support and coordinate the job evaluation process from submission to finalisation. The key is providing excellent support to our stakeholders and HR colleagues, from guidance around the process to document preparation.

Reporting into our People Partner, you’ll be working collaboratively with our Job Analyst, ensuring you’re offering fantastic customer service to our colleagues. You will guide, support and reassure our colleagues of the progress of their enquiry and providing detailed updates when needed. Your attention to detail is crucial for the smooth delivery of the job evaluation process, ensuring that timely and accurate information is provided to our stakeholders

You’ll be working in a team that are values-led and your commitment to this role will help towards making a real difference to our BCT colleagues and to those who want to join us!

We have been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, following a 2023 inspection. This is a fantastic achievement for Birmingham Children's Trust, with many positive highlights focusing on areas including the quality of staff leadership, partnership working, safeguarding and corporate parenting.

This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham so you must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham and have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK. Sadly, we do not support those who require sponsorship.

About you:

  • Experience in HR (ideally in a diverse organisation)
  • CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards) or above.
  • Strong organisational skills, prioritising critical tasks to an excellent result and ensuring records and data are kept up to date.
  • Excellent communication skills, as you will be engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Championing continuous improvement and uphold pay equality.
  • Passion for fairness, inclusion and high-quality service
  • Competent to manage queries independently, making a fair judgement on when to escalate further.
