Actual Annual Salary: £20,890 per annum (Term Time Only)
Full Time Equivalent (FTE): £28,617 per annum

The Tiffin Girls’ School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Porter / Catering Assistant to join our busy catering team on a term-time only basis (including 5 INSET days).

At The Tiffin Girls’ School, we are committed to promoting a positive food culture and supporting our students to access healthy, high-quality meals throughout the school day. This role plays an important part in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining service by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety whilst supporting the wider catering team.

We aim to provide healthy and attractive food options for students within limited budgets, whilst delivering a fast and efficient service to minimise queues during busy serving periods.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Understand and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness

  • Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times

  • Enjoy working with young people

  • Be able to work effectively under pressure within a busy team environment

The successful candidate may already hold relevant Food Hygiene qualifications or be willing to undertake appropriate training.

Salary range

  • £20,890 per year
