Job Description

Job Title: Lead Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) Pollution Control Specialist
Salary: £63,393 – £73,167 per annum
Grade: H
Contract Type: Grant-Funded Fixed Term
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

About the Role

As the Lead LTC Pollution Control Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring all Pollution Control Lower Thames Crossing responsibilities and responses are effectively managed and completed to a high professional standard on behalf of the Council, with all relevant deadlines met.

You will answer Pollution Control service requests and collate high level complaint responses to meet all relevant government and department deadlines. You will lead on all LTC planning consultation responses, working closely with Environmental Protection Team members and other Council departments / teams.

What We Are Looking For

You must be a confident presenter with high level Pollution Control scientific experience.

You will lead all Pollution Control LTC work and attend high level meetings to answer complex questions and LTC consultations, including at public inquiries.

You will need to be an excellent communicator in all Pollution Control areas with the ability to effectively organise and time manage your work.
