Job summary

We’re looking for a Microsoft 365 Specialist with specialist skills in MS Purview and MS365 products including MS SharePoint and MS Modern collaborations products. The role will:

  • Act as a specialist on configuring and governing Microsoft Purview.
  • Act as a specialist on the Microsoft 365 Suite of products, particularly SharePoint and the modern collaborative suite of products available in the Azure platform.
  • Develop and implement changes to the systems mentioned above.
  • Liaise with the M365 Product Owner and internal customers to build a roadmap of applications to implement into TPR, ensuring that business requirements of the application are fulfilled.
  • Perform administrative tasks for the applications (monitoring system jobs, capacity checks, duplicate checks etc)
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop system integrations, data migration and automated testing.

The role and responsibilities

  • Championing Microsoft 365-based modern collaboration solutions embracing new functionality.
  • Analyse, estimate and prioritise work items to achieve the best outcome.
  • Work individually to investigate, prioritise and solve problems in production systems.
  • Design and deliver SharePoint site solutions, by choosing appropriate design principles and techniques to use within the technical framework defined by the architecture team.
  • Manage and control problems and change within area of responsibility, including negotiation with other teams as necessary.
  • Engage with business users to gather information regarding systems incidents and requirements for change.
  • Overseeing the delivery of cloud solutions, in line with business objectives.
  • Increase user adoption through your positive action.
  • Act as a specialist to support the Microsoft 365 Suite (Office apps.), particularly SharePoint administration and related Microsoft Product Applications available in the Azure platform.
  • Liaise with internal customers to ensure that business requirements of the application are fulfilled.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop system integrations, data migration and automated testing.

Person specification

The role criteria

  • Working knowledge of existing and emerging Microsoft 365 core technologies in particular SharePoint administration.
  • Ability to design and update Microsoft 365 solutions and technical roadmaps, including producing high-quality documentation and user guides for the wider business.
  • Microsoft 365 Certification Fundamentals (MS-900), with demonstrable experience delivering Microsoft 365 solutions in a fast-paced environment.
