Blacon High School – More Than a School
Blacon High School, a successful and inclusive 11–16 secondary school, is seeking a compassionate, highly organised and proactive Medical Co-ordinator to oversee the care and medical needs of our students. This role plays a vital part in supporting the health and wellbeing of all students, working closely with parents/carers, pastoral staff, external agencies, and the wider school team.

We are looking for a professional who is calm under pressure, empathetic, meticulous and committed to delivering high standards of care in a school environment. You will need to manage confidential information with discretion and work collaboratively to ensure the safety, welfare and dignity of all our students.

We are looking for applicants who:

• Have a background in healthcare, first aid or medical administration
• Possess excellent organisational and record-keeping skills
• Are able to communicate effectively with students, staff and families
• Can respond swiftly and sensitively to a range of medical situations
• Are committed to supporting young people and promoting wellbeing in a busy school setting
