Our Vacancy
Mobile External Caretaker – Be the Friendly Face Keeping Our Communities Clean and Safe
Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things spotless, safe, and welcoming? Do you enjoy being out and about, meeting people, and making a visible difference every day? If so, we’ve got a great opportunity for you.
We’re looking for a Mobile External Caretaker to join our team full-time on a permanent basis. You’ll be part of a dedicated crew responsible for maintaining the internal and external communal areas across our estates—making sure everything looks great and feels safe for our residents.
What your day might look like:
- Start with lighting checks in communal areas—swap out any bulbs that need replacing.
- Carry out a range of cleaning tasks across entrances, staircases, corridors, lifts, bin rooms, car parks, and podium gardens.
- Litter picking, sweeping, and keeping outdoor spaces tidy and inviting.
- Be the go-to person for residents when it comes to caretaking queries.
- Work closely with teams like Neighbourhood Services to make sure residents’ needs are met and any concerns are reported.
What makes this role special:
You won’t be stuck indoors—you’ll be out on our estates, helping to create clean, safe, and welcoming environments. You’ll build relationships with residents and be a key part of the community. Every day brings something different, and your work will be appreciated by everyone who lives and works there.
We’re committed to making our recruitment process inclusive. If you need any reasonable adjustments, just let us know—we’re happy to help.
