We are recruiting an Occupational Therapist at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.

We pay an attractive salary of £37,938 - £40,476 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 x Occupational Therapist to work in our well-established and experienced Community Resource Team. The Occupational Therapist’s mainly support with the reablement cases but may also be asked to provide advice in relation to moving and handling and equipment/ adaptations to promote independence.

The focus is on supporting individuals to achieve their wellbeing outcomes, promoting a multi-disciplinary approach. We can support newly qualified Occupational Therapist’s to progress and encourage a culture of continuing professional development.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • A Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience of supporting individuals to maximise their independence.
  • Commitment to working on a flexible rotational basis between services.
