This position is a fantastic opportunity to work and develop as an individual and as part of a team gaining clinical and operational experience in a supportive environment across a range of clinical areas.
The Role:
- As a Childrens's Occupational Therapist you'll be working in Sensory Motor stream of our integrated OT service
- As a Children's Occupational Therapist for Liverpool City Council, you will provide occupational therapy assessment, intervention and advice to children, young people and their families to support their development and participation in activities of daily living and access to learning
- Acting as the Children's Occupational Therapis you will be required to provide assessment and OT interventions for children and young people with additional needs as well as support the delivery of our SPD strategy service. With a South Liverpool office and a North Liverpool Clinic space you will be working across the city in the community, children's centres, homes and schools as well as having the option to work from home
- As an Occupational Therapist you will be required to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, providing specialist knowledge, consultation and assessment for children with a range of conditions
- As an Occupational Therapist you will liaise with health, education, and social care services, working in partnership with nurseries and parents / carers and external agencies to deliver a high-quality service
- Opportunities for continued professional development including opportunities to complete training in sensory processing from external training providers. This role is fixed term for the purpose of maternity leave and will end on 1 July 2026.

Salary range
- £39,513 - £44,711 per year
