    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and well organised team player to join our friendly Business Support team in Housing. The small team of office administrators provide business support across Housing teams located at the Housing Centre and other local offices to deliver greater value for our council, tenants and customers.

    About the role

    The role will include a responsive, customer focused and high-quality front line reception service for both internal and external customers at the Housing Centre, signposting visitors and service users to the correct service as well as carrying out a range of administrative and financial functions to support the work of colleagues in Housing.

    You will:

    • help deliver a professional and exceptional frontline service to tenants and other Housing teams.
    • assist in keeping our buildings and equipment compliant in Health and Safety legislation, ensuring staff and visitors safety foremost in everything we do.
    • use a wide range of IT packages and systems to input data and to look up information as well as desktop packages for producing documents, spreadsheets and emails.
    • have a flexible, adaptable approach and the ability to multitask effectively according to business priorities.

    Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

    Salary range

    • £27,254 - £27,694 per year
