We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Outreach Programme Manager to lead and grow our Outreach service- a dynamic programme providing high-quality, community-based support to families facing complex challenges.
About the role
This is a pivotal leadership role, providing both strategic direction and operational oversight. You’ll lead a talented team of Outreach Managers and Practitioners, ensuring our work with families is safe, impactful, and rooted in anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and systemic practice.
Your remit will include shaping service strategy, building external partnerships, and ensuring the sustainability and visibility of the Outreach programme. You’ll work closely with the Chief Executive and senior leadership team to develop new service models, strengthen relationships with commissioners and funders, and embed a culture of learning and reflective practice.
About you
We’re looking for an inspiring leader with a strong background in children’s social care, family support, or related community services. You will bring:
- Significant experience in strategic and operational management within a multi-disciplinary setting.
- A deep understanding of safeguarding, family intervention models, and systemic inequalities.
- Confidence in building partnerships with commissioners, funders, and community stakeholders.
- A proven ability to lead teams, drive innovation, and deliver measurable impact.
- A personal commitment to anti-racist and anti-oppressive practice, and to creating equitable opportunities for all families.

Salary range
