This is a rewarding opportunity to play an important role in supporting the Head of Service and Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Your organisation, attention to detail and ability to keep things moving will help ensure the service operates effectively and continues to provide the best possible support to young people.
About the Role
As Business Support Administrator, you’ll provide essential administrative and organisational support across the service. You’ll work closely with senior colleagues, helping coordinate meetings, manage information and ensure important actions are followed through.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Organising meetings for the Senior Leadership Team and ensuring all arrangements are in place.
- Taking accurate and comprehensive minutes, recording decisions and following up on agreed actions.
- Supporting managers with HR procedures and helping to implement processes effectively.
- Collecting and analysing statistical information to support planning and decision-making.
- Providing general administrative support to help the service run smoothly.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and confident working with colleagues at all levels. You’ll be able to manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively and maintain a high level of accuracy.
You’ll have:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to support others.
- Confidence working with data and administrative information.
You’ll also be flexible and adaptable, able to remain calm under pressure and respond positively to changing priorities. Most importantly, you’ll be committed to supporting your colleagues and making a positive contribution to the lives of the young people in our home.
