We are recruiting to our new Expert Court Assessment Service (ECAS) — an innovative service focused on delivering high-quality, court-ready parenting assessments that improve outcomes for children.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop specialist skills in assessment and court work within a supportive and forward-thinking team.

About the Role

As an ECAS Parent Assessor, you will work as a specialist practitioner, delivering analytical parenting assessments within pre-proceedings and care proceedings.

You will:

  • Complete high-quality, child-focused parenting assessments
  • Produce analytical, court-ready reports
  • Contribute to timely decision-making and reduced delay
  • Work collaboratively with legal services and partner agencies
  • Develop expertise in court-based social work practice

Special requirements for this post

We welcome applications from qualified and experienced candidates. You will need to have a Social Work. You will need to hold a current SW England registration.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants including an Enhanced Children’s Department of Barring Services check.
