An exciting opportunity to join the parking administration team, supporting the Parking Services back-office team, has become available.

The Parking Services team in Woking contributes a healthy revenue amount each year to the Council and we are looking for somebody who can share their skills to help the Council develop and expand on its services and provide excellent support to the public.

The role of Parking Administrator will work to support the management and daily delivery of parking service to the wider public. This role provides an excellent opportunity to hone and develop skills in a multitude of different areas and you will be making a positive difference within the team immediately. Your primary role will be the full range of administration for the Parking Services department. For further details please see the job description but a summary includes:

  • Transaction processing which includes invoicing, refunding, taking payments, and raising purchase orders.
  • Reconcilliation of a variety of income sources including parking payment machines, permits and Penalty Charge Notice payments.
  • To assist with notice processing tasks such as responding to challenges, moving cases to the next appropriate stage, and scanning and printing documents.
  • To assist with the day-to-day delivery of parking permit administration such as vehicle registration changes, creating physical and digital permits and reviewing documents.
  • Assist the public with parking enquiries by phone and email.

It will be an interesting and varied role, needing someone self motivated with a good eye for detail. We have a fantastic Parking Services team and we are looking to add to this. Full support and training will be provided. The starting date for the role will be as soon as possible.
