Part-Time Finance Officer

Uttlesford District Council’s Finance Team is responsible for delivering a full range of financial services, covering all aspects of financial accounting, from invoice processing through to the preparation of the Council’s final accounts. This part-time role offers a varied workload and an excellent opportunity to develop and broaden your finance knowledge within the public sector.

As a key member of the Finance Team, the successful candidate will provide essential support across a wide range of accounting functions, gaining valuable exposure to all areas of the financial process. The role is responsible for ensuring finance procedures and processes are maintained effectively, while also contributing to the ongoing review and development of procedures to improve efficiency and support continuous service improvement
