We’re hiring: People Management Business Partner with a focus on schools and academies
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in education and public service? Our People Management team is looking for a skilled and confident HR professional to join us as a Business Partner, supporting both Council services and our valued school communities.
As the dedicated HR lead for our schools, you’ll work closely with Headteachers, Governors, and senior leaders to provide expert guidance on everything from employee relations and attendance management to restructures, TUPE transfers, and policy development. You’ll be a trusted advisor, helping shape decisions and delivering pragmatic, people-focused solutions that drive positive outcomes.
This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, influence, and collaboration. You’ll bring experience from school or academy settings, a strong grasp of employment law, and the ability to navigate complex casework with confidence and care. In return, you’ll join a supportive, forward-thinking team that puts wellbeing, inclusion, and continuous improvement at the heart of everything we do.

Salary range
- £47,181 - £49,282 per year
