Where you’ll work: Based at North Kent College’s Dartford campus, with occasional travel to the Gravesend / Hadlow / Tonbridge sites if required.

Your hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per annum.

Your pay: £27,379 per annum, with Level 3 CIPD study support if you don’t already have a qualification in place.

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join North Kent College’s People team as a People Resources Coordinator.

Working as part of a close-knit team (including Director of People, Deputy Director of People, two People Business Partners, People Resourcing Manager, People Officer, and a second People Resources Coordinator), you’ll work collaboratively to deliver excellent services aligned with College policies and procedures.

As a People Resources Coordinator, you’ll provide customer-focused and pragmatic support to the People team, working closely with the People Business Partners and People Resourcing Manager to provide a value-adding service to your designated business areas, building professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This could be the role for you if you:

  • Have current HR experience at Administrator / Assistant level and want to take the next step, or possess transferable skills from another role and are keen to start a career in HR.
  • Hold a Level 3 CIPD qualification (or above) or are willing to achieve this within 12 months of employment (fully funded by us!).
  • Understand the basics of employment law and are comfortable providing first-level advice on HR matters, such as sickness certification.
  • Have experience supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, or transferable skills in managing key operational processes.
  • Are proficient in IT and administration, and can maintain systems with absolute accuracy.
