Job summary

Supporting the Head of Performance Analysis and Senior Performance Analysts, you will be involved in HM Land Registry's (HMLR) leading digital transformation projects. You will be part of a highly skilled analytical team that provides data, analysis and insight to a wide range of stakeholders.

Job description

Role Overview

In this role, you will draw on your knowledge and experience of analytical techniques to identify, source and analyse the most appropriate data, providing clear, actionable insight that informs decision-making. You will present your findings both within the team and, importantly, to digital product teams and a range of stakeholders to support the effective development of digital services.

You will contribute to the creation of performance measurement frameworks for product development teams, supporting informed decisions throughout each product’s lifecycle. Working alongside Senior Performance Analysts, you will help shape and influence the “what does good look like” agenda and support the identification and application of meaningful KPIs.

Attendance at meetings and conferences across the HMLR estate and at other locations will be a feature of this role, including occasional overnight stays. You will need to be flexible with your working hours to meet business requirements.

HMLR expect everyone to spend at least 60% of their working time in the office. Success in this role is not defined by the hours worked so we can consider a range of working hours and patterns.

About the Team

You will gain in-depth knowledge of HM Land Registry’s processes and digital products, developing expertise in how the organisation operates. This understanding, combined with your analytical capability, will enable you to work collaboratively with colleagues across professions including data science, user research, account management and customer insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying, sourcing and analysing appropriate data using robust analytical techniques.

  • Communicating findings clearly and confidently to digital product teams and key stakeholders to support evidence-based decision-making.

  • Supporting the development of performance measurement frameworks that guide product decisions across the lifecycle.

  • Working closely with Senior Performance Analysts to influence the development and application of meaningful KPIs.

  • Developing high-quality data visualisation skills using Power BI.

  • Enhancing your presentation skills alongside senior colleagues to deliver insight effectively to non-analytical and non-technical audiences.

Why Join Us?

This role offers the opportunity to champion the use of data and analysis in driving digital transformation across HMLR. You will contribute to high-profile areas of work, providing high-quality analytical insight to senior leaders and helping to ensure our services deliver real value for users and the public.
