Job summary
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join HM Land Registry. In this role, you will work closely with the most senior leaders in the organisation, gaining valuable insight into how the directorate operates at a strategic level. The work is varied and fast paced, requiring you to think quickly, use your initiative, and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Director’s day.
You will become a central point of contact for queries relating to your director and directorate, building strong working relationships and developing a deep understanding of their priorities. You will also be part of the Executive Hub, a supportive team who collaborate to solve problems and deliver shared goals. In addition, there will be opportunities to get involved in wider activities across the Chief Executive’s Office.
Job description
As a member of the Executive Hub, the team which supports HM Land Registry directors, you will provide administrative/secretarial support for an executive director ensuring a well organised environment and smooth running of their activities. This will include inbox management, managing incoming correspondence/telephone calls and managing the Director’s diary.
You will prioritise and manage urgent actions, support in arranging senior meetings and events and ensure relevant information is available in advance of meetings. You will take minutes at meetings, make travel arrangements and manage expenses.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide support to other directors and the Director's Senior Leadership Team, within the Service Delivery Business Support Team.

To be successful in this role, you will have effective organisational and time management skills, with the ability to react well to changing priorities in a busy environment.
You will have a proven ability to communicate effectively with senior colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
You will be proactive and a team player, who will support colleagues in the completion of tasks.
You will also have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft office.

Interview
If you are successful at this stage, then you will be invited to attend a blended video interview, week commencing 9th March 2026 which will be held remotely through MS Teams.
