We are recruiting a Personal Assistant to the Cabinet at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37 Hours (7.24 Monday – Friday)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full time
Location: Ty Penallta / Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

Team: Democratic Services

We pay an attractive salary of £31,537- £34,434 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are looking to appoint a suitable candidate to provide an efficient, effective and confidential support service to the Cabinet to ensure all administrative and support requirements are met in an organised and timely fashion which is consistent with the operating practices of the business.

The postholder will act as the main point of contact for Cabinet and handle communications on their behalf. You will fully service meetings of Cabinet including publication of agenda packs, decisions and minutes, accurately recording of votes and live streaming the meeting to You Tube.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • 5 GCSEs grades A*-C or equivalent Level 2 qualifications on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. Or Relevant Level 2 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
  • Knowledge of working within a busy, confidential working environment providing support to senior level officers.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to achieving and maintaining high standards.
