    PREMISES OFFICER LEVEL 2

    Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 52 weeks
    Salary: Pay Band D, SCP 5-6 / £25,583 - £25,989, plus Standby Allowance of £7,482 pro rata, per annum

    [Actual salary: £18,859 - £19,159 plus standby allowance of £5,516 per annum]

    (Standby duties cover the post-holder being available and on call for out-of-hours emergencies, e.g. making the premises safe/secure and liaising with security/police)

    Contract: Initially 12 months (with the intention to become permanent)
    Start date: 1st September 2026

    Following the retirement of our experienced Premises Officer, we are seeking a self-motivated, reliable and conscientious individual to join our dedicated Premises Team.

    The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining our school to the highest standard, ensuring that our learning environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors.

    We are looking for someone who:

    • is trustworthy, self-motivated and professional in their work
    • is reliable and hardworking with excellent attention to detail
    • can maintain high standards of cleaning, maintenance, and security
    • can carry out repairs and site upkeep to a high standard
    • ensures compliance with health and safety requirements and policies
    • can monitor and test building systems (fire alarms, emergency lighting, etc.)
    • works well independently and as part of a team
    • uses initiative and good time management to prioritise effectively
