As a Principal Analyst you’ll work within the Analytic Content team to lead the development and delivery of analysis for acute and ambulance services to support CQC’s regulatory functions.

Job description

You’ll play a key role in the organisation by:

  • Leading the development and delivery of a portfolio of analytical content for acute and ambulance secondary health services aligned to CQC’s strategic priorities.
  • Acting as the senior owner for your content area, ensuring quality and consistency through leadership, oversight and sign off for your team’s analytical outputs.
  • Driving common approaches for data acquisition and indicator development across teams at CQC.
  • Promoting excellence and innovation in analytical methods, learning from best practice nationally and internationally.
  • Working collaboratively across CQC to ensure insight supports products and services that make a real difference.

  • Proven ability to communicate insight effectively, including presenting findings to senior stakeholders and large external audiences using clear storytelling and visualisation.
  • Expert knowledge of data sources, tools and analytical methods, with a track record of applying them to deliver actionable insights.
