Programme Support Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive Programme Support Officer to join the Children's Social Care National Reform Programme Families First in Barking and Dagenham. This role is central to supporting the successful delivery of a major transformation programme and ensuring that complex programme activities are coordinated effectively.

Working as a key member of the Families First Partnership Programme Team, you will provide high-quality programme, project and administrative support across a wide range of activities, including programme governance, stakeholder engagement, workforce consultation processes, training coordination, communications and implementation planning. You will work closely with programme leaders, Children's Services colleagues, corporate teams and multi-agency partners to help ensure the programme remains well organised, responsive and on track.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a national DfE-sponsored transformation programme that is reshaping practice, strengthening early intervention and prevention and redesigning the way services support children and families.

About you

A relevant qualification in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent experience, is essential.
