Woking Borough Council has a number of exciting opportunities within its expert and well respected In-House Legal team to support the Council’s functions and services.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Property Lawyer to play a key role in our team.
We are looking for a Property Lawyer to carry a varied Property caseload in a Local Government context. You will have a sound knowledge of general Property and Landlord and Tenant Law as well as experience in more complicated Development orientated matters. The Council has a large Retail and Office portfolio, making good experience of transactional work in these areas essential but you will be prepared to assist in other areas as required.
You should be enthusiastic, confident, organised and be able to work on your own initiative. You should be able to manage a busy workload to tight deadlines.
You will support the Head of Legal Services and the Director of Legal and Democratic Services to provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective Legal service to the Council, as well as supporting lawyers in handling cases.

Salary range
- £48,000 per year
