Public Heath Principal - Healthy Population

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Public Health Team as a Public Health Principal within the Healthy Population portfolio. You will provide strategic leadership for key public health services and transformation programmes, working collaboratively with senior leaders, elected members, NHS colleagues and wider partners to influence strategy, strengthen prevention, improve health and wellbeing and address health inequalities.

You will lead the development, commissioning and delivery of evidence-based programmes, ensuring that resources are used effectively and services respond to the needs of our communities. You will also provide specialist public health advice, and oversee programme performance.

You will be an experienced and confident public health professional with the ability to provide strategic leadership across complex services and transformation programmes. You will be able to translate evidence and population health intelligence into practical action, ensuring programmes are responsive to local needs and contribute to improved health outcomes and reduced inequalities.
