Job summary
SLC have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our Estates Team at our Hillington office, playing a key role in keeping the organisation running smoothly.Job description
As a front-of-house professional, you’ll deliver a courteous and efficient switchboard service, welcome staff and visitors, and help maintain a safe, professional working environment. With no two days the same, you’ll support a wide range of administrative and clerical activities, from issuing security passes and managing enquiries to enrolling new starters and getting involved in project work across the Estates function. This role would suit someone with experience in front of house/reception and switchboard duties, strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and multitask with confidence.
The post is offered on a 0.8 FTE basis, with a strong preference for candidates who can work Monday to Friday between 0830 - 1430 and is fully onsite. Please note that we cannot offer hybrid or remote working for this role.
Person specification
Experience of reception and switchboard work
Administrative or Clerical knowledge and experience at an intermediate level.
Good communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
Knowledge of security and emergency procedures
Ability to prioritise and multitask when speaking with different stakeholders
Data entry accuracy and attention to detail
