7.45am – 3.45pm Mon to Thurs and 7.45am-3.15pm Friday

St Mark's CE School is the only all through school in Southampton. We currently have children from Year R – Year 11. We are one whole school community, where we create a sense of belonging for all who enter our school. The staff report that they are happy here due to our Christian values of love, belonging and service. We look after each other, whilst doing the best we can for our students and their families.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our extremely busy office team. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming friendly school and the role of receptionist is key to this as you will be the first person most people meet when visiting our school.

To be successful, you will be friendly, flexible, approachable and able to communicate well with children and adults in our diverse community. The role will include both face to face and telephone interactions.

An excellent knowledge of ICT and the microsoft package is essential as is experience of working in a busy office environment, as well as an ability to multi-task whilst putting our children first is a key requisite for this position as no two days are the same!

A first aid certificate and a knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage although training will be given. Furthermore, a compliance of confidentiality and safeguarding is essential as are excellent customer service and administration skills.
