This position is available as a secondment opportunity for up to 1 year. If you are a permanent LBC employee, you must have written approval (an email will suffice) from your manager prior to applying and a copy will need to be submitted with your application. Are you passionate about recruitment? Do you have the skills to provide top-notch recruitment advice and admin support? If so, the Recruitment Team within HR at Luton Council is looking for you!

Why This Role Is Exciting:

As a Recruitment & Compliance Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our HR recruitment services, handling all the standard recruitment administration for Luton Council employees. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all documents and candidates are onboarded efficiently and within a timely manner. You'll respond to recruitment-related enquiries and collaborate with other HR teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Please note this role does not attract sponsorship.

About you

You are someone who is proactive and solutions-focused, always looking for ways to add value and improve recruitment services. You bring a thoughtful and informed approach to responding to complex enquiries, including those related to safer recruitment procedures and recruitment best practices.

With a good understanding of how information and communications technology supports the modern workplace, you are mindful of data protection and data quality requirements in line with relevant legislation, such as the Data Protection Acts.

You also demonstrate a strong awareness of equalities issues relating to recruitment practices and apply this knowledge confidently in your day-to-day work. Your inclusive approach ensures fair and effective interactions with both customers and colleagues, contributing to a positive and professional working environment.

This is a public facing role so you’ll need to show off your fluency in speaking and writing English
