About the role
Role Summary
This role supports the People team with the recruitment process from advertising to onboarding, including coordinating and supporting interviews, new starter processes, and general HR administration.
The jobholder will work in conjunction with the People and Talent Advisor to provide support for day-to-day resourcing and general administrative queries.

What will you be doing?
Role Specific Responsibilities
•Coordinating and supporting interviews for multiple recruiting managers including redacting CV’s for shortlisting, sending rejection emails and liaising with recruitment agencies where necessary.
•Managing conflicting priorities, including diary management, meeting and greeting candidates, arranging assessments and onboarding new staff.
•Conducting right to work checks, taking up and chasing reference requests, following onboarding checklists to ensure candidates are recruited in line with policy.
•Ensuring adherence to recruitment processes and providing administrative support throughout the hiring process.
•Using Excel to update our KPI data.
•Using Ipos to create purchase orders (training will be given).
•Liaise with our PR and Communications Team to create and post engaging job advertisements on relevant platforms such as CV library, LinkedIn etc. Also using these platforms to headhunt for hard to fill roles.
•Conduct initial telephone screenings to evaluate candidate suitability for a variety of roles.
•Act as the primary point of contact for recruitment requests overseeing recruitment activities and providing support to hiring managers as needed.
•Ensure clear and timely communication with candidates through accurate interview confirmation emails and any other necessary communication.
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, providing regular updates and reports to the HR team.
•Manage the Recruitment inbox including keeping our jobs by email register up to date and informed.
•Book one- and three-month review meetings with newly recruited candidates to check on progress, reporting any concerns to the People Partners.
•Book IT and HR inductions for new starters.
• To conduct any other reasonable duties as requested.

•Maintain professional curiosity in all interactions with residents, be aware of and report and record any potential safeguarding issues promptly and appropriately.
•Maintain awareness of budget requirements and value for money while delivering your role.
•Consider and highlight any risk to the organisation or individuals whilst delivering your role.
•Consider resident feedback (the resident voice) in all service delivery, using data and insight and actively engaging with residents to understand their needs, views and priorities and tailor services accordingly.

About You
Education & Qualifications
•GCSE standard or equivalent education
•Competent user of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Key Skills & Competencies
•Experience of document management and diary co-ordination
•Experience in human resources or recruitment is preferred but not essential.
•Ability to manage expectation and act as a gatekeeper
•Strong relationship management skills to effectively engage with candidates and internal stakeholders

•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey information clearly and professionally.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
