The East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Regional Assistant Finance Business Accountant. In this pivotal role, you’ll proactively support and advise budget holders in managing their delegated finances, helping to ensure resources are used effectively and responsibly.

You’ll be

• Preparing the annual revenue budget model with estimates for specific income and expenses.
• Coordinating the payment of creditors and raising purchase orders ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
• Creating bespoke financial management and planning reports to enable effective business development and adaption to changes.

You must

• Hold Level 4 AAT qualification or be prepared to obtain this within 2 years of appointment.
• Have previous experience working in a large complex financial environment in a budget management role.
• Have experience researching and analysing trends and presenting recommendations to aid decision making in comprehensive reports.
