As part of Enterprise Service Management (ESM) this role entails all aspects of the Directorates reporting in relation to NS&I’s Multi-Supplier Model and its Strategic Supplier Partners.

This involves gathering, analysing and presenting information about the ESM service management function it’s processes and suppliers. This includes tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess service performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with business goals.

You’ll be a key contributor to all aspects of in-year reporting, providing insight through regular performance management reports to committees, boards and directors, and overseeing submissions made from our strategic suppliers. You’ll work with the wider ESM team to help colleagues understand operational performance and help them capture robust forecasts, ensuring appropriate challenge and scrutiny to deliver overall value for money.

Working with a wide range of data sources including, service management tools, databases, portals & audits you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Service Management and wider team members to monitor, test and report on all aspects of Supplier Performance across multi-million-pound outsourced contracts.

This is a key role that has regular exposure to senior decision makers and as such this role requires an experienced individual who is confident in both presenting and challenging performance reports; someone proactive with an eye for detail, good at managing competing priorities, understanding and responding to stakeholder needs.

Essential experience

  • Experience of designing and creating reports in various systems including ServiceNow.
  • Significant experience of the skills required to design, collate and contribute to the production of daily, weekly, monthly and annual Quality Assurance and Performance reports.
  • Ability to integrate and analyse information and data from various sources. Attention to detail with write clear concise presentations, reports, and submissions and/or briefings at pace ensuring the key points are articulated.
  • Ability to engage and persuade various stakeholders at all levels in a complex environment, working with and advising Senior Management.
  • Worked within complex and large-scale transformation programs and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and SIAM team.
  • Experience of technical data interpretation, management and handling.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Excel, Forms, Oracle and M365.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to build strong relationships across all levels of internal and external stakeholders and influence and engage with Senior Stakeholder throughout complex organisations

Essential skills

  • Excellent written, IT based presentational and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of working with Service Now (or other service management tools), Microsoft Excel, Forms, Oracle and M365.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to build strong relationships across all levels of internal and external stakeholders and influence and engage with Senior Stakeholder throughout complex organisations

Essential technical knowledge

  • Understanding of Lean, Agile and DevOps principles within a Customer & Service-centric delivery model which suppliers in the ecosystem will utilise and forms alignment to NS&I maturity in its ESM environment.
  • ServiceNow – this is NS&I’s chosen ITSM Tooling so an understanding reporting capability would be advantageous.
