This role is based at the Bracknell Hotel with the requirement to attend in person 5 days per week.
This is a full-time role on a fixed-term contract until 31/08/2027.

About you...
As a Resettlement Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families arriving through Government Migration Schemes to settle successfully and build independent lives within the community.
You will be organised, proactive and compassionate, with experience of supporting vulnerable people facing complex challenges. With excellent communication and relationship-building skills, you will take a person-centred approach, working confidently both independently and collaboratively with a wide range of partners.
A strong commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion is essential, alongside a passion for empowering individuals to achieve positive outcomes and greater independence.
Working closely and creatively with local communities, voluntary and community organisations, childcare and educational settings and partner agencies, you will help identify needs and connect individuals and families to the services and support that will enable them to thrive.
As a Resettlement Officer, you will operate with a high level of care across all relevant agencies and services to ensure that children’s and adult’s safeguarding thresholds are adhered to, with particular regard to criminal exploitation, human trafficking and domestic servitude.

Key responsibilities...
- Provide resettlement support to individuals and families, helping them access housing, healthcare, education, employment, welfare benefits and community services.
- Complete assessments and develop risk assessments and support plans to promote independence and successful integration.
- Provide advice and practical support relating to housing, welfare benefits, healthcare, education, employment and community engagement.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate effective support and achieve positive outcomes.
- Monitor progress against support plans and take appropriate action to address emerging needs or risks.
- Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns in line with relevant policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, case notes and reports in accordance with organisational and statutory requirements.
- Support individuals and families to access local services, build community connections, and develop the skills and confidence needed to sustain independent living.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of resettlement services and promote equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.
