Residential Worker (Casual)

We are seeking to appoint suitably skilled and motivated people to work with children and young people in a Wakefield MDC Children’s Home on a casual/ relief basis. York Villas in Normanton provides full time care for children with disabilities.

You will hold a NVQ 3 or equivalent in Caring for Children and Young People, or be willing to work to achieve this qualification following appointment. Satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check will be required. Effective supervision, induction and training are provided to all staff.

The work involves shift patterns, including weekends, nights and Bank Holidays. You should be committed to improving the life chances of the children and young people we look after.
