
Resourcing Administrator - 2 Year Fixed Term Appointment

Working with a supportive team and a range of stakeholders across Acas, you will provide an efficient and effective HR support service.
The Resourcing Administrator duties involve a wide range of support activities within our HR Support Team. An important part of the role will be to act as the first point of contact between HR and employees, passing on promptly any concerns to the relevant areas to action and providing excellent customer service to ensure the smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions - all the while adhering to current HR policies and procedures and ensuring they are always followed.
Job description
The postholder's main accountabilities will include:
- Delivery of a high-quality service and prompt responses to all customers (internal and external)
- Dealing with employee requests/enquiries via email and/or telephone from staff regarding human resources, e.g. annual leave, providing advice and/or direction as and when required
- Completing all HR Support actions, e.g. processing new starters, transfers, and leavers ensuring all systems (i.e. iTrent) are updated accurately, completely, and within agreed timescales
- Undertaking all administrative actions and generating standard letters in a timely manner for all HR processes and procedures
- Demonstrating a flexible attitude by covering other areas of work as requested by Team Leaders/Managers
- Providing a strong customer-focused service while providing responses to queries within agreed timescales, to resolve any issues so that employees feel supported

Person specification
Essential Criteria
- Proficient at using IT systems, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel, and Office packages
- Able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision and be proactive
- Highly organised, motivated and able to prioritise workload accordingly
- Excellent attention to detail to produce accurate work
Desirable Criteria (the following will be assessed in the event of tie-breaker scenarios at the Sift and Interview stages)
- Experience in HR administration such as issuing letters and contracts
- Experience of using iTrent

Interview Details
If you have successfully passed sift at the application stage, you will be invited to an interview which will take place via Microsoft Teams from the week commencing 18 May 2026.

A reserve list will be created for this position; this means that if you have passed the interview, but we cannot immediately offer you this position, you will be placed on a reserve list for 12 months and may be considered for similar positions during that time.
