Job summary

Working within the Resourcing team, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers and stakeholders to provide a first-class resourcing service. Often working across all business areas you will advise, coach and guide hiring managers on the resourcing process.

Job description

No two days will be the same in this incredibly busy role, you will spend your time guiding Managers and candidates through a number of activities which will range from using our ATS system to advising on our policies and processes. You will be posting vacancies on external sites such as Civil Service jobs and Linked In and supporting Managers to set up interviews.

Person specification

Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders on their resourcing journey, you will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate. You will be looking for a role that offers you variety and a chance to work with multiple business areas within Homes England. As a Resourcing Advisor in our team you will be excited to support hiring managers to deliver great resourcing outcomes.

Previous experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) would be preferable but a willingness to learn will also be invaluable. You will be proficient in the use of Excel as data accuracy is a key part of this role, we provide data to the wider HR team and Directorates so maintaining accuracy is incredibly important.

You'll be organised and able to flex your workload to deal with changing priorities. This is really important as within our team we have to be able to support Homes England to deliver the wider Agency priorities.

You'll be comfortable collaborating with hiring managers to achieve the best outcomes and supporting with roles that are, potentially, challenging to fill. You will be supporting the wider team, advising on job descriptions and adverts where necessary and also ensuring that any issues are dealt with quickly.

You will be comfortable communicating via email as you will support with the day to day management of our shared inbox where queries from both candidates and Managers are received and dealt with quickly. This may mean supporting with a system issue or providing additional information about a role. You will be supportive and inclusive in your communication style and understand that many queries are of a confidential nature.

You will gain a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a Resourcing team and also appreciate that diversity and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do.
