The role operates in a fast‑paced and regulated environment. It’s also primarily focused on contingent labour and temporary workforce resourcing, so experience in contingent labour recruitment will support success in the post.
In your application, please outline the types of contingent labour roles you have managed, how you have worked with suppliers and hiring managers to deliver effective recruitment outcomes, and the steps you take to ensure compliance within recruitment processes. The successful candidate will be supported to develop their understanding of contingent labour models where required.
As a Resourcing Officer (Temporary Workforce) in the Resourcing and People Support Team, you might get the chance to:
- Lead on designing and delivering bespoke recruitment campaigns for high-impact roles across the organisation.
- Support redeployment efforts by providing tailored advice and guidance to colleagues during organisational change.
Job description
The role
You’ll be key in helping us deliver our work. In this role, you’ll:
- Manage recruitment campaigns: Oversee the full recruitment process for a portfolio of vacancies, from planning to offer stage, ensuring a smooth and inclusive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Support hiring managers: Work closely with managers to understand their needs, agree recruitment timelines, and advise on the best attraction and assessment methods.
- Maintain accurate records: Keep recruitment systems and trackers up to date, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies.

We will be looking for specific skills, knowledge and experience in your application form:
- Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end recruitment campaigns for contingent labour roles, including vacancy management, working with suppliers, supporting contingent labour workers and hiring managers. Tell us about your experience working with contingent labour, including the types of roles you have managed, your key responsibilities, and any challenges you have successfully addressed.
- Confidence working with stakeholders: Tell us how you build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and hiring managers.
- Sound working knowledge of government legislation and regulatory requirements relevant to contingent labour and recruitment practices: Tell us how you ensure compliance when managing contingent labour workers
