Job summary

We are currently recruiting for a Retail and Consumer Insight Analyst within our Retail and Consumer Insight team, working on a hybrid basis, two/three days from our HQ in Coventry and the remainder working remotely from home.

The aim of AHDB’s Retail and Consumer Insight team is to work collaboratively with industry stakeholders, providing the highest-quality, evidence-based insights that shape sector strategy and help optimise levy payer competitiveness.

This role is primarily involved in data analytics and consumer trend reporting and involves collecting and analysing consumer information from multiple sources, including Worldpanel by Numerator, Nielsen, YouGov, IGD, Euromonitor and Mintel. You will be monitoring consumer behaviour and researching the latest consumer trends, translating these into fact-based and insightful information. This work supports growth in the industry by enabling farmers and processors to make informed decisions.

We are looking for a confident communicator with previous insight experience and an interest in consumer food trends.

Established in 2008, AHDB is the independent, impartial public body that unlocks success in British agriculture. Funded by a levy from over 100,000 British farmers, growers and processors in the beef, lamb, pork, dairy and cereals sectors, we support and champion farmers and processors, often where no one else can or will.
