Description

Be the difference in safeguarding and manage the team protecting the vulnerable.

Join us as our Safeguarding Hub Team Leader, you’ll guide a dynamic team responsible for the effective assessment, triage and response to safeguarding referrals across adult’s and children’s services.

You’ll be making and supporting evidence-based decisions with a clear focus on managing risk and promoting the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals.

You’ll promote a culture of continuous improvement, maintaining quality assurance and safeguarding outcomes. You will contribute to strategic development by identifying emerging trends, risk and opportunities for service enhancement.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide effective supervision, leadership and management to police staff and officers within the Safeguarding Hub
• Participate in strategy discussions and multi-agency meetings, assisting with decision making to safeguarding
• Service as a key point of contact for the Safeguarding Hub, working collaboratively with police colleagues and partner agencies.

The must haves

• Knowledge of child and adult safeguarding legislations and statutory guidance
• Experience working within a confidential environment
• Skilled in recognising and supporting high performance, identifying training and development needs
