We have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join our Commercialisation Team here at Wokingham Borough Council, on a Part-time, Permanent basis.

As Sales Administrator, you will support the Sales & Events Team with daily administrative tasks, working across the Commercialisation & Finance Support team to ensure a successful business, managing financial responsibilities including invoices, purchase orders, remittance, and purchase to pay processes.

You'll handle social media planning, scheduling of posts, and engagement with followers, while providing marketing collateral support including posters, mailshots, and banners. You'll also remain commercially aware and proactive in highlighting new opportunities, acting as a key point of contact for the Sales & Events Team, onsite Operations Teams, and Country Park Services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate professional with experience in office administration, sales, and marketing awareness, particularly in customer-facing roles and team environments, to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end financial administration, including processing invoices, purchase orders, remittances, and overseeing the purchase-to-pay cycle.
  • Execute social media strategies by planning and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring online presence.
  • Produce and coordinate marketing collateral such as posters, mailshots, and banners to support promotional activities.
  • Provide comprehensive daily administrative support to the Sales & Events Team, ensuring operational efficiency and identifying new commercial opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Commercially aware and proactive at highlighting new opportunities
  • Strong organisational skills and time management
  • Previous office admin experience
  • Attention to detail, proactive and able to work under own initiative and alone
