The Observatory School is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic school cook to join our catering team.

This role will be based at our Vyner Campus in Bidston, although you may be required to provide cover at our Leasowe Campus kitchen when needed.
This is an important role within the school, responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including preparing nutritious, balanced meals for pupils, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety, and contributing to a positive and efficient working environment.
You will also be responsible for ordering supplies, managing stock levels, carrying out stock takes, and ensuring equipment is used and maintained safely.
We are looking for someone with experience of working in a catering environment, and a strong understanding of food hygiene and health and safety. You should have good communication skills, be able to use your initiative, and work effectively as part of a team.

Salary range
- £22,552 - £22,911 per year
