School Office Manager with responsibility for Personnel Management, Administration and Extended Schools Services

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced, highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the school office. This pivotal role involves responsibility for HR & Personnel Management, administrative operations, and organisation of the Extended Schools Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations and smooth functioning of the school office, ensuring an efficient administrative service.
- Lead the Admissions & Attendance Officers - delegating tasks and providing leadership.
- Oversee admissions, attendance and data management systems.
- Maintain and update school records, including staff and children’s information.
- Support HR processes including recruitment, payroll and staff absence.
- Organise the breakfast club and after-school clubs.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in school administration and office management.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in school management systems such as Bromcom and Google applications.
- Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of school policies, safeguarding requirements and compliance procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure: strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to manage difficult conversations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Salary range
