Contractual Hours: 35 hours per week

Hours of Work/Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:15am – 5:00pm with a 45-minute lunch break

Senior Accountant -Treasury

If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Corporate Treasury team of the Chamberlain’s (Finance) Department.

Reporting to the Group Accountant (Treasury & Investments), the successful applicant will ensure the Corporation’s treasury management strategy is implemented effectively on a daily basis; provide high-quality financial reporting for all treasury activities across the organisation; and work with our Corporate Accountancy team to ensure borrowing requirements are managed effectively. The post holder will also administer the current HRA Service Charge Loan portfolio and will be expected to maintain appropriate relationships with key advisors, our Bankers, external auditors and other partners.

You will be a fully qualified accountant, with a sound knowledge of the key issues around treasury management and be able to provide clear professional advice to senior officers and Members.

Salary range

  • £59,060 - £66,670 per year
