    What you'll do

    As our Senior Budgeting and Reporting Manager, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality financial planning, analysis, and reporting across Notting Hill Genesis. Working closely with the Head of FP&A and Business Partnering, you will lead the monthly management accounts cycle and take ownership of the Group's budgeting and forecasting processes.

    You'll oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, collaborate with Finance Business Partners across the organisation, and ensure that financial insights support effective decision-making and value for money. With responsibility for two analysts, you will build capability within the team and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

    Your work will help ensure that NHG remains financially robust, data-driven, and well-positioned to meet the needs of our residents and communities.

    How you'll do it

    • Lead the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely reporting.
    • Own the annual budgeting and in-year forecasting cycles, promoting best practice and high-quality financial planning across the organisation.
    • Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and operational teams to gather and consolidate financial data.
    • Produce clear, insightful financial reports that explain business performance and support strategic decision-making.
    • Analyse complex financial data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities, driving continuous improvement.
    • Work with stakeholders across NHG to ensure robust budgeting and forecasting processes, constructively challenging assumptions and plans.
    • Develop and maintain financial reporting tools and systems, ensuring they meet organisational needs.
    • Manage, coach, and support two analysts, ensuring consistency of approach across monthly and annual FP&A activity.
    • Maintain high-quality financial data across spreadsheets and in-house systems.

    • Ensure robust processes underpin NHG's budgeting, forecasting, and management accounts cycles.
    • Build strong working relationships with colleagues across Finance and the wider business.
    • Drive high standards of analytical rigour, data quality, and continuous improvement.
    • Champion NHG's values through leadership, collaboration, and role-modelling behaviours.

    The ideal candidate

    Essential:

    • CCAB-recognised accounting qualification (highly desirable) and commitment to ethical standards.
    • Significant experience in management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage diverse audiences.
    • Experience influencing operational and strategic activity across a large organisation.
    • High level of proficiency in Excel; knowledge of D365 and Power BI desirable.
    • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
    • Commitment to integrity, objectivity, professional competence and confidentiality.
