Senior Care Practitioner - Permanant

The Council of the Isles of Scilly is recruiting for the post of Senior Care Practitioner, with opportunities available on both a permanent and casual basis.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support the day-to-day management and smooth running of our small residential care home. You will lead shifts when required, provide guidance and support to colleagues, and promote best practice in the care of older adults.

Working closely with the senior care team, you will help ensure that the home maintains the highest standards of care, safety and wellbeing at all times. Candidates must have a strong understanding of safeguarding and be able to demonstrate compassion, respect, empathy and a person-centred approach to care.

Important information about accommodation

Accommodation on the Isles of Scilly is in limited supply and applicants should consider this before applying. The Council does not routinely provide housing; however, in exceptional circumstances and for certain critical roles, limited accommodation support may be available, subject to availability and separate approval.
